Welcome to another adventure-packed wedding captured by Bonnie Photo! Dana and Mitch are the epitome of adventurous and their Estes Park wedding was perfect. We loved every minute of photographing their engagement session in Rocky Mountain National Park. The stunning views of the mountains and the lush greenery made for the perfect backdrop for their romantic picnic, where they brewed their own coffee as an adorable finale.

Their wedding day was held at The Landing wedding venue in Estes Park, Colorado. It was the perfect setting for these two adventurous souls, with a mountain stream running right next to the ceremony site. Dana and Mitch’s wedding day was full of emotional moments, and one of the most special ones was her private first look with her dad and then with Mitch.
One fun thing about first looks is that it allows us one extra opportunity to get some extra gorgeous couple’s portraits during the day.
She also surprised her bridesmaids with her stunning cathedral length wedding veil. Seeing the looks on their faces as they saw her in her full wedding attire was a memory that Dana will cherish forever.
Rain decided to make an appearance during the ceremony, but it didn’t stop these two from exchanging their vows. It made the ceremony even more romantic and fun! They say it’s good luck to have rain on your wedding day. After the ceremony, we were able to capture some super fun photos of the couple and their wedding party surrounded by the beauty of the mountains.
The reception was where the real fun began. During dinner, one of the uncles took it upon himself to lead everyone in a rousing rendition of “Piano Man” by Billy Joel, and everyone was belting out the lyrics. It was such a fun moment, and we captured some amazing candid shots of everyone enjoying themselves. The dance party that followed was equally fun, with everyone showing off their best moves on the dance floor.
We absolutely loved Dana and Mitch’s idea to do the Titanic pose for some of their sunset portraits 😂
A super fun end to the night was their grand exit lit by sparklers and cell phone lights. Pro tip: if you’re doing a sparkler exit get the big sparklers and light them with a blow torch to make sure they all light quickly. Also confirm that sparklers are allowed and not a fire risk.
