Kayla and Jared’s Colorado Wedding: A Beachy Mountain Bash
Just like me and my husband Mike, Kayla met Jared on Bumble and knew from their first date that they had something special. Their wedding was a true reflection of that love!
Kayla and Jared’s engagement session was a blast! We explored Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs, enjoying the gorgeous scenery. The towering red rock formations there always make for such a beautiful setting. These two were so natural and in love; which is what I always tell my clients is the only thing that matters when creating awesome photos.
Fast forward to June and it was time for their wedding at Cheyenne Mountain Colorado Springs, A Dolce Resort. The wedding was held on a beach at the foot of the mountains and it was breathtaking! Their first look was adorable.
The wedding party had a blast before the ceremony, goofing around with neon inner tubes at the pool. How cool do they look with these neon poolside colors in their formal wear? Jared and his Air Force buddies looked super dapper in their suits.
One of my favorite moments from this wedding was when Kayla’s grandmother saw her for the first on her trip to Colorado. It was an intensely emotional moment.
Kayla was gorgeous, as she walked down the the sandy aisle. Kayla and Jared exchanged vows with both beach, lake, and mountains as their backdrop, what a unique and rare look for Colorado weddings!
Kayla got a lot of laughs but unrolling a huge scroll that was supposedly all of her vows. It would have taken so long is that had been real!
After the ceremony Kayla and Jared shared a shot ski. That a was a fun and unique thing!
After the ceremony, it was time to party! The reception was a blast with delicious food, an awesome dance floor, and heartfelt speeches. Kayla and Jared surprised everyone with a fun dance routine that brought the house down! It was clear to see that these two were made for each other and were having the time of their lives.
We finished the night the way we do at a lot of weddings: with some unique nighttime portraits.
