Slipping into the Multiverse

Couples portraits were created at Golden History Park in Golden, CO.

These portraits were created with in pairs.

The first image in each pair was created with a normal lens: the Sigma 35mm 1.4 Art.

The second image in each pair was created with a specialty distortion lens: the Lensbaby Sweet 35.

The portraits were also lit in increasingly unnatural ways.
First, natural, golden light.
Second, artificial golden light.
Third and fourth, light with a blue gel, placed at eye level.
Finally, light with a green gel placed well-below eye level.

Finally, two images from each lens were overlaid in Photoshop using layer masks.
