So, picture this: Jasmine and Ross, a couple of ultra-cool homebodies who are all about video games and epic cooking sessions, decide to tie the knot. And where do they do it? In a freaking Airbnb mansion in Breckenridge, Colorado, that’s loaded with enough charm to make a hipster weep—secret bookshelf door included. Yup, a secret door! (I secretly hoped to find Narnia or a Beauty and the Beast style library behind it)
Let’s talk about the décor for a sec—Sacred Thistle came in and turned the place into a floral wonderland that had everyone oohing and aahing. They set up this altar that was so gorgeous it almost made the mountains jealous. Seriously, check this thing out:
Jasmine’s bouquet was also to die for.
Jasmine’s friends took care of her hair and makeup and that was so fun to watch.
Ross looking incredibly dapper:
Jasmine’s dad snuck in for a peek at his daughter before her first look with Ross. Adorable.
Every private first look I photograph makes me so emotional, still to this day. I love these sweet moments so much. People’s true personality really shows in their genuine emotional response. Ross’s first look at Jasmine was no exception.
Time for the ceremony! It took place on the balcony with a view of forest and Rocky Mountains. Perfection. Ross’s brother-in-law officiated and did a great job.
Next up…food. OMG. Jasmine’s family filled the kitchen with laughter and songs while they cooked so many fantastic dishes. Homemade perfection. It was SO GOOD. I wish more families had enough fun cooking together that they catered their own wedding!
Their cake wasn’t just a cake; it was a korovai—a traditional Ukrainian wedding bread that’s all about love, community, and not being able to stop at just one slice. Shipped all the way from the East Coast, this cake was more traveled than some of the guests. This edible piece of art was from Korovai by Katira.
