I honestly wasn’t quite sure what to expect from my first backyard wedding, but I should have known it would be awesome, considering how epic Jennifer and Sterling’s canoe engagement session was.
Jennifer & Sterling got married at his sister’s house and it ended up perfect! Everyone was comfortable and the setting was gorgeous.
These two are so madly in love it’s easy to take good photos of them!
There was even some open space behind the house that we were able to use for couple’s portraits. For this one I held Jennifer’s bouquet upside down in front of my camera.
As always, we love photographing kids at weddings. The awesome swing set at this house provided lots of smiles.
Another perfect thing about Jennifer and Sterling’s wedding? The dancing. They met dancing and a lot of their friends dance, this makes photographing the dancing so much more fun!
The hungriest of guests ????
A special treat for everyone was a friend of the couple singing and playing ukulele!
I am now totally in love with backyard weddings, and recommend them, especially to couples who want a smaller wedding and are trying to save money on their venue.
