When Angie and Chris decided to tie the knot, they were committing to celebrating their blended family. They planned a day brimming with laughs, a few happy tears, and a gorgeous ceremony. And they nailed it. Their wedding was a perfect blend of heartfelt moments and high-energy celebrations that totally reflected their fun-loving vibe.
Months before the wedding we met Angie and Chris at the Denver Selfie Museum, where their daughter Claire turned out to be the real MVP. Claire’s goofy antics and cheeky smiles made the engagement session a total blast and set the bar high for the wedding day. If there was ever a sign that this wedding would be a good time, it was Claire hamming it up for the camera.
On the wedding day, Angie was at home with Claire, creating some genuinely sweet and relaxed moments. Over at Chris’s place, it was all about chilling with the guys—cracking open a few beers, shooting the breeze, and just being dudes. The contrast between Angie’s calm and Chris’s laid-back prep was a riot to capture, and it really set the tone for what was to come.
The ceremony was at Shrine of St. Therese in Pueblo, CO. How gorgeous is this building?
The ceremony was everything you’d expect—elegant, beautiful, and with a touch of emotional overload. The highlight? Chris’s jaw-dropping reaction when he saw Angie walking down the aisle with her dad. It was a priceless moment that made everyone go “aww” (or maybe tear up a bit). The priests here did a fantastic job with their passionate and down to earth ceremony.
Post-ceremony, we hit up the city park for some group shots with their wedding party—11 people in total, all ready to bring the fun. The session was fun and easy, with everyone pulling their best poses and having a great time. The energy was great, and the photos turned out fantastic, capturing all the best parts of their crew’s personality.
The reception at Sangre de Cristo Arts & Conference Center was a ton of fun. We kicked things off with a tear-jerker moment—Angie’s mom joining her and her dad for their first dance. Cue the tear and feels.
Angie and Chris’s wedding was everything you could hope for and then some. From Claire’s adorable antics to the heartfelt ceremony and the adorable first dances, their day was a perfect blend of sweet and spirited. Here’s to many more years of laughter, love, and family!
